New York Philharmonic

For the first time in eighty years, the U.S. national anthem was played in North Korea. This was facilitated by Taekwondo and the tireless efforts of Woo Jin Jung of the Taekwondo Times, who coordinated the cultural exchange that allowed the North Korean team to compete in the United States, and in turn, for the New York Philharmonic to perform in North Korea.
